Taylor Pump And Well Company is focused on providing high quality service and customer satisfaction, and we will do everything we can to keep you as our very valued customer.
Our company, Taylor Pump And Well Company, was started in early 1918 by my great grandfather, Robert A. Taylor in Dumfries, Virginia. At that time wells were dug by hand and lined with stones.
My great grandfather would stay and board with the customer and his family until the well was complete and to make sure they were satisfied with a job well done.
My grandfather, Robert Taylor started working alongside his Dad hand digging wells in 1928. It made life a lot easier when my grandfather bought the first drill rig in Prince William County Virginia in 1954.He continued to drill and bore wells for over 40 years and installed and repaired submersible and jet pumps.
My Dad, Robert Walter Taylor took over the well drilling and pump business in 1970. He drilled and bored wells for hundreds of satisfied customers in the Northern Virginia area. He has the most experience as a well driller and a pump tech, installing, repairing pumps for many residential and big commercial customers for over 37 years, and a real help when I need advice and guidance on a project.
I'm the fourth generation well driller and pump technician, continuing in the family tradition of great, honest, and dependable service. I started in the business over 17 years ago working alongside my Dad.
When we moved to the High Desert years ago my Dad and I both worked with Jim LaPorte, owner of Independent Well Drilling in Apple Valley, my Dad as a pump tech and I as a driller.
We wanted to get to know the area and the people, and Jim LaPorte was kind enough to work with us, and show us what a great place we had relocated to.
I am now a California general contractor and a water well contractor too!
My son Robert Zachary, at only 13 years old wants to take over the family business and wants to continue our great customer service!
My youngest son, Jonathan Robert 2 years old will be joining us soon.
